Taps Public House has quickly established itself as a go-to spot in Mississauga, blending ambiance with a diverse menu that appeals to many. Located at 6570 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle, the restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for both casual lunches and lively dinners. Patrons rave about the striking decor that gives off a King Street vibe, making it an attractive place for groups or intimate gatherings. The menu features a delightful mix of fusion dishes and comfort classics. Highlights include the miso carbonara, described as the best pasta in Canada—rich and umami-packed. The banana bread French toast and Rikki Bobby House Breakyy have also garnered fanfare during brunch. However, some diners have noted inconsistencies in service, with wait times varying greatly between visits, which can detract from the experience. Many reviews emphasize the friendly staff and quality of food. The calamari and truffle fries are delicious but may lean on the pricier side. Overall, Taps Public House is lauded for both great food and an energetic vibe, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a solid meal in Mississauga. Just be prepared for potential wait times and choose your dishes wisely to maximize value.

Atmosphere: Service: Food Quality: Price/Value: I was really curious to try this place considering how highly rated it is within Mississauga. After visiting a couple of times, I can definitely see why it gets praise though there are a few things to keep in mind before going. The ambiance inside is great! One of the better interiors that is warm and inviting with decor that sets the mood for a comfortable meal. The patio is also a great option during warm weather as it’s fully covered in shade, making it an ideal outdoor dining spot. One downside is the music inside can be tad bit loud at times which may be distracting for some or just an excuse to turn up? Service was a mixed bag unfortunately. On one visit for dinner, food took about 25 minutes to arrive though appetizers came quickly. However, when I came for brunch, the service was abysmal, taking well over 30 minutes for one of the simplest dishes to make (one that could probably be done at home in 10 minutes!) Not only that but we were kept waiting for the bill for over 20 mins at one point... so while the staff was friendly, but the inconsistency in wait times was frustrating This is what we ended up ordering: 1.) Calamari - 19 2.) Truffle Fries - 11 3.) Miso Carbonara - 23 7 for chicken 4.) Seafood Linguine - 28 5.) Rikki Bobby House Breakyy - 22 The food here is great with an extensive menu that offers a mix of fusion dishes and classic comfort food which delivers on flavour. For brunch, the rikki bobby house breakyy hits the spot while for dinner, the miso carbonara was by far the best pasta I’ve had in Canada - rich, creamy, and packed with umami. The calamari was tasty though the portion size felt a bit small while the truffle fries offered a generous serving with great flavor. The seafood linguine was also good though it had a slightly strong seafood twang that might not be for everyone Prices are on the higher side for a few dishes but for the quality and portion sizes, it’s mostly justified. Some dishes feel like a great value, while others like the calamari and rikki bobby house breakyy could offer a bit more for the price Definitely worth checking this place if you’re looking for a great vibe and solid food! Just be mindful of potential wait times and choose your dishes wisely to get the best value for your money!

My friends and I had the best experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was very diligent and took care of us even when it was packed due to the end of the Christmas rush. She made sure our glasses were always full, if any changes needed to be done to the food, it was promptly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. The chef did an amazing job, the service was amazing, I think our waitress was Kayla. Thank you so much for this experience, we will definitely be back

Went for a Mother’s Day dinner here this weekend for the first time. We had a great experience there, and would definitely visit again. Indoor and outdoor patio options are available, the restaurant was busy so a reservation is likely required. Our waitress, the manager and other staff members were very nice, everyone provided amazing service. This is what truly made the experience memorable for us. My favourite dishes were the Mediterranean dips w/ puffed pita and my dad and I shared the King’s platter. Amazing portions and everything tasted delicious. I will for sure be back for the wagyu sliders–those were the best.

Taps Public House is easily one of the most fun spots in Mississauga to grab drinks and food with friends. The atmosphere and decor are incredible and unlike anywhere else in the area. It honestly gives off King Street vibes, very reminiscent of the top spots you’d find downtown Toronto. The pizza and drinks are fantastic, and the appetizers are just as impressive. The calamari and sushi, in particular, were standout dishes—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for a place in Mississauga with great energy, delicious food, and a unique vibe, Taps should be at the top of your list.

Extremely impressed by the taste and the quality of the food. Everything was cooked to perfection and had immaculate taste. The steaks taste fresh and everything was full of flavour. The interior was pleasing and so was the service. It wasn’t as busy because it was a random Monday afternoon but I can’t imagine the weekend vibes at this place. Can’t wait to come back.

This place is amazing. It has a cool vibe with a d.j playing on Friday and Saturday nights. The service is exceptional. They sure know how to make you feel welcome .Which is the reason why I continue to go back. The food is great lots of variety and the cocktails are amazing also. Why go downtown when you can have a fabulous evening at Taps Public House.

Went to Tapa for a special birthday brunch with my hubby and son. We sat in the patio area..We ordered two cappuccinos, two Benedict’s with salmon and fried capers and banana bread French toast. The benedicts came with a rich bread topped with smoked salmon and fried capers With baked potatoes and salad on the side. The banana bread was served with blueberry puree as the base, topped with vanilla ice cream, candied pecan and walnuts and maple syrup. Both dishes were packed with flavours and filling. Coffee did its job pretty well too!! Great ambience and service to top it all..
